“Weed Pro Lawn Care has been using Grow Anything!™️ pellets from Alfalfa Green™️ since 2008. We like using the smaller 5/32” (4 mm) pellets as they are easier to spread and break down into the lawn quicker. Though alfalfa has many benefits to the soil, Weed Pro primarily uses the Grow Anything!™️ pellets to help water retention after overseeding a lawn. These pellets will absorb up to 5 times their weight in water.

Weed Pro spreads 50lbs o Grow Anything!™️ per 1000 sq ft, giving a 250-pound wet blanket on a newly seeded lawn and helping ensure that tender grass seeds remain moist until they are established. “We had applied the Certified Organic Grow Anything!™️ Pellets on our soccer field and ball diamonds in early spring. Over the spring and summer season we witnessed an increase growth and thickness of its turf, especially in the bare areas, such as goal creases on the soccer pitches.

We also noticed a lot less weeds than usual, and as a result we did not spray chemical for weeds this season. We applied a second application in late October, and are looking forward to next spring with even a better growth; we are also planning to introduce this product to our playground and park areas as well as our sports fields.

“Shortly after taking over our Greenhouse, we were introduced to Grow Anything!™️ and tried it on some of our container rose bushes with positive results.

The following season we started using Grow Anything!™️ as an additive to our growing medium for our transplants. It has now become our primary fertilizer and has allowed us to cut back on both slow-release fertilizers and the amount of water-soluble fertilizers applied through our injector system.

“I was only able to put down 65 lbs per acre with the seed using the slow speed gear on our drill. I could change it up this year to a high-speed setting to put more down, but I don’t know if that is necessary seeing the result we got.

Keep in mind that this was the second year there have been no synthetic fertilizer inputs in this soil. Last year we grew wheat and oats here. Also, remember that the wheat faced severe (35-42 degrees) heat for 2 weeks without rain at the flowering stage, so I believe it affected the size and quantity of seeds in the head.

I was very happy with the results, and I think the soil will only improve with this kind of treatment. We do soil testing each spring to watch our Phosphorus levels, so we will keep an eye on most micronutrients as well. I hope this is helpful.

“The City of Estevan purchased certified organic Grow Anything!™️ manufactured by Alfalfa Green Organic Fertilizers. We bought the product primarily for use in flower pots throughout the city. In an average year, the City of Estevan plants approximately 10 000 flowers in flower beds and pots.

This year I was looking for a more convenient organic fertilizer option. I went with Grow Anything!™️ and applied it to our flower beds and pots at a rate of one cup per foot of weep line circumference. The pellets were used in early May at the time of planting and were re-applied one month later in June and again in July.

The organic pellets were easy to handle and apply and were more convenient than some inorganic fertilizers I’ve previously used, which had to be mixed with water before applying. Most importantly, I have peace of mind knowing that these organic pellets do not pose a health threat to Estevan’s citizens, children, or pets as they walk through our parks, nor have they been detrimental to the health of any of my staff members who applied them.

I observed that the flowers seem to be doing better than in previous years. The blooms, leaves, and foliage appear larger, colouring perhaps a bit deeper and more vibrant than expected. Overall I like the Grow Anything!™️ products and will use them again in our flower program next year.”

“I wish to communicate the excellent results the City of Saskatoon Parks Branch has experienced with your Certified Organic 1/4” pellet Alfalfa Fertilizer, Grow Anything!™️.

Since 2006, The City of Saskatoon has been amending some Eastside perennial shrub beds and annual flower beds with your products.

We have found that the alfalfa pellets, when added to the surface at a rate of 10 kg per 100 meter sq, have improved soil structure within our beds constructed over clay substrates. The slow-release source of Nitrogen and other microelements available in the products never burns our plants.

The most significant benefit of this organic product is that it encourages microbial activity within the soils of our beds, providing natural feeding of plant materials.

Another benefit is the organic pellets fit so well with our continued goal to reduce pesticide use within the City of Saskatoon parks.”

“...Alfalfa pellets were incorporated into the soil at the rate of 0 t/ha [control], 5 t/ha, 10 t / ha, and 15 t/ha. Plant morphological traits of six native species were studied in the field for irrigated and non irrigated plots. Application of alfalfa alone had a significant effect on total plant biomass, plant height, rooting depth and root surface area so was the effect of irrigation on these parameters. Soils amended with alfalfa pellets also exhibited significantly higher N, P, K, and soil organic matter content while it also reduced bulk density. There were also significantly higher microbial populations in alfalfa amended soil with irrigation than non-amended and non-irrigated soils.”

“On our certified organic vegetable farm, we use Grow Anything!™️ pellets as a source of nutrition for a wide range of crops. The pellets are an efficient and easy way to deliver Nitrogen to plants, along with Calcium - which can be a problematic element made available to crops without altering soil pH.

The 4mm pellets flow easily through a drop spreader or can be broadcast with a cyclone spreader. With adequate soil moisture, the pellets quickly break down and release nutrients.

We use the Grow Anything!™️ pellets as a fertilizer for our potatoes because we are always concerned about the potential for pathogens and disease-causing organisms sometimes present in composted animal manure. Potatoes respond well to Alfalfa Green.

We conducted a trial on our farm using Grow Anything!™️ on broccoli and celery. Sections of each crop were fertilized with i) compost only, ii) alfalfa only, iii) compost and alfalfa blend. In both crops, the clear winner was the compost/alfalfa blend, suggesting that compost organisms interact with alfalfa pellets to create a broader range of plant-available nutrients.”
